Christianity in Crisis – 21st Century is a large book filled to the brim with information.
In the first chapter of the book lies a chapter titled Turning Truth into Mythology. Within are compiled statements of the faith leaders mentioned throughout the book. It is eye-opening.
Hank Hanegraaff forms a list of faith leaders, all in the current spotlight, though some more then others. He presents a profile of each leader with statements they have made. Then Hank Hanegraaff compares these faulty statements of the faith leaders with the truth of the Bible.
In the back of the book are documented sources of what Hank Hanegraaff referenced throughout. It shows the biblical passages mentioned. As well as the statements of the faith leaders and where they were taken from, some from websites and even youtube.
I found this book to be a wealth of information. I am glad that this book is on the market to compare statements of public faith leaders with the truth. There are some leaders I would have liked to see Hank Hanegraaff focus on more then he did in the book. Also, I wish he would have found statements for some leaders that had been more up to date. It appeared that for some leaders, he took their statements from the early ’90s and onward while others are more current in this 21st century. Overall, I found it to be a good book worth reading.
Rating: 4/5.
